Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Columbus, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The scope of the work shall be to install ADA compliant curb ramps, curb and gutter, and concrete pavement. Installation shall be as shown in the advertisement for bids. All work will be performed at the detailed and specific direction of the City Engineers Office. The City of Columbus is seeking quotes to complete public improvements for the Hiker Trace ADA Ramps project (#25-17). All quotes must be submitted through the electronic bidding system, Ion Wave Technologies, before the published closing date and time. No mailed, emailed, faxed, hand delivered, or late responses will be accepted. Submitted quotes will be opened and reviewed at the City of Columbus' Board of Public Works and Safety meeting. An award will be made at a subsequent meeting upon verification of the lowest responsive and responsible quote. The City reserves the right to reject any and all quotes. The signed Quote Form will serve as the contract. Bidders are required to submit a completed Comprehensive Compliance Form and a Certificate of Liability Insurance with coverage of not less than $300,000 per person and not less than $1,000,000 per accident. The work must be completed by May 15, 2026. Failure to complete the project on time will result in liquidated damages of $100 per calendar day, excluding weekends and holidays. Contractors must obtain a Request for Special Use of Right of Way for any closure of street, traffic lane, alley, parking space, or sidewalk. Question Cut Off Date: 12/1/2025 10:00 AM (ET)
