Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Barrington, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade educational facility; and one-story above grade educational facility.

Project will include, but is not limited to, the application of rejuvenator material to existing asphalt at Barrington High School, Barbara Rose Elementary School, and Arnett Lines Elementary School. The project is to be bid as a lump sum contract with supplemental unit prices. All bidders must submit, along with their bid documents, a resume of similar projects performed (including location, type of work, approximate completion date, and project engineering firm), and a list of equipment owned or available for the efficient pursuit of the project. Bidders must submit a satisfactory progress or critical path schedule showing the proposed sequence of work and how completion will occur on or before the specified date. Contractors must coordinate with individual summer school schedules and complete all rejuvenator work on weekends (starting Friday and reopening the parking lot by Sunday night). The contractor shall begin work after Monday, June 1, 2026, achieve substantial completion by Friday, August 7, 2026, and final completion by Friday, August 14, 2026. Substantial completion is defined as all improvements except restoration, and final completion includes restoration and punch list items. Certified payroll documentation will be required. Bid security in the form of a bid bond or certified check for ten percent (10%) of the base bid shall accompany the bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and bidders and to waive technicalities. The special attention of Bidders is directed to the policy that no claim for relief because of errors or omissions in the bidding will be considered, and bidders will be held strictly to the proposals as submitted. Should bidders find any discrepancies in, or omissions from, and of the documents, or be in doubt as to their meanings, they shall advise the Chief Financial Officer who will issue the necessary clarifications to all prospective Bidders by means of addenda.
