These questions will be addressed in an Addendum. Work on this project shall be covered by a Single Prime Contract. Demolition of the existing Town pump station and construction of a new 3.0 MGD pump station, including wet well, pumps, control systems, electrical, generator, and associated apparatus & systems. Construction of approximately 9,500 LF and 20-inch diameter DIP force main, including piping, valves, blow-offs and the connection of the outlet force main to the Johnston County Waste Water Treatment Plant. The work includes providing all labor, equipment, and materials for utility construction services. The project generally comprises utility installation, repairs, replacements, relocations, and maintenance of water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer systems. Work may also involve construction and/or rehabilitation of manholes, appurtenances, and various related structures. Bidders are instructed to examine the site, make required investigations, and carefully review the requirements before submitting a bid. Bidders must submit their proposals as specified and ensure all required documentation is included. Work on this project shall be covered by a single or multiple Prime Contract(s). The extent of this work includes furnishing of all materials and labor necessary for the complete construction of the Pump Station #1 Improvements, as shown on the plans and as outlined in these specifications.
