Demolition, site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Abilene, Texas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a military facility; for site work for a military facility; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The project involves the complete demolition of Building 6119, which has an approximate total area of 2,892 square feet. Demolition will include removal of concrete slabs and foundations to a depth of three feet below the existing grade elevation, as well as sidewalks, drives, utilities, and select fill. All structural components such as tops of concrete piers and pier caps, steel reinforcing, wood framing, gypsum board, masonry, transite panels, doors, frames, windows, caulking, ceilings and grid systems, flooring materials including carpet and tile, plumbing lines and fixtures, accessories, furniture, insulation, HVAC units, ductwork, piping, pumps, electrical panels, conduit, wiring, lighting, transformers, gas lines and meters, roofing, and flashing must be removed. The contractor shall provide all necessary demolition services, including layout, survey, labor, supervision, quality control, materials, equipment, shoring, tools, fencing, and incidentals, and perform all operations in accordance with the attached project drawings and specifications.
