This project involves the complete demolition of Building 6142, which has an approximate total area of 15,275 square feet. The work includes removal of the entire structure and associated components down to a depth of three feet below the existing grade elevation. Demolition will encompass concrete slabs and foundations, sidewalks, drives, utilities, select fill, tops of structural concrete piers and pier caps, steel reinforcing, wood framing, gypsum board, masonry, transite panels, doors, frames, windows, caulking, ceilings (gypsum and lay-in grid), floors, carpet, tile, plumbing lines and fixtures, accessories, furniture, insulation, wood and metal framing, HVAC units, ducting and registers, piping, pumps, electrical panels, conduit, wiring, lighting, transformers, gas lines and meters, roofing, flashing, and other related elements. The contractor shall provide all necessary demolition services, including layout, survey, plant, labor, supervision, quality control, materials, equipment, machinery, shoring, tools, fencing, and incidentals, and perform all operations in accordance with the attached project drawings and specifications.
