The Sheridan County Fair Association (SCFA) is soliciting statements of qualifications from firms to provide professional building design services. Project Description. SCFA would like interior/exterior design services for a multipurpose all-season steel structure, (set dimensions are 75' X 200' X 20') owned by SCFA. Option 1: Utilizing the 15000 sq. ft. space, develop a floor plan(s) to include preliminary plans for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, a food preparation area, bathrooms and equipment storage. Option 2: The desired building will consist of the red iron building to include preliminary plans for electrical, plumbing and HVAC. In addition to the existing 15,000 sq. ft. space, add an annex structure to accommodate a commercial-grade kitchen, equipment storage and bathrooms. The successful firm will provide the SCFA with design services as stated in above options, in enough detail, to ensure all elements meet City of Sheridan building codes and provide a sound probable construction cost estimate. The Statement of Qualifications must contain the following information: Description of Firm. Describe your firm's legal structure, area(s) of expertise, length of time in business, and any other information that would help to characterize the firm. Include the firm's main office address and the name and contact information of the project lead. Experience. Briefly describe other design projects performed by your firm for similar building projects. For each building project identified, include the name and contact information of a person who can be contacted regarding your performance on the design project, i.e., client references. Personnel. Provide professional resumes for the key people within the firm to be assigned the project and describe their roles and responsibilities Including compensation rate schedules per hour for personnel assigned to the project. Project Schedule. Provide a timeline of design activities, including a schedule of key milestones the firm would meet and a completion date for each. Provide a start date if selected. The highest ranked firm will be selected for negotiations. The SCFA will request the highest ranked firm to submit a scope of services and fee within 2 weeks after receiving notice of the selection. The SCFA will seek to negotiate a professional services agreement, a detailed scope of services, fee, schedule, etc. that is fair and reasonable. If unable to reach an agreement, the SCFA will terminate negotiations and commencenegotiations with the second highest ranked firm. Questions.
