The work includes furnishing all materials, supplies, and labor necessary to construct approximately 6,600 feet of new relocated irrigation pipeline, including earthwork, reinforced concrete gate wells, removal of existing irrigation facilities, backfill, excavation, dry bore, and any other incidentals necessary for a complete and operable system in Mission, Texas. Steel and iron materials shall comply with Buy America requirements. Bidders must inspect the site to inform themselves of all local conditions. All work must be completed within one hundred twenty (120) calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Proposals must be accompanied by a certified or cashiers check, or an acceptable bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid as guaranty. Conditional or qualified bids, or bids not in proper form, may be rejected. Bidders are responsible for ensuring they are on the Bidders List maintained by Ferris, Flinn, & Medina, LLC. United Irrigation District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and award the contract based on unit prices and estimated quantities of work to the bidder deemed in its best interest.
