Renovation of a mixed-use development in Remsenburg, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility; and one-story above grade educational facility.
Sealed bids are invited for separate and single prime contract work for Cafeteria/Gymnasium Air Conditioning at Remsenburg Elementary School. Each bidder must submit their bids by the designated deadline and location stated in the notice, where they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Contract documents can be examined at the Architect's office or obtained digitally or in hard copy for a fee. Bid addenda will be sent to registered plan holders via email and made available online. Bidders requiring shipped documents are responsible for packaging and shipping costs. Plan holders with hard copies of bid documents must coordinate with the printer if hard copy addenda are needed. The hard copy bid deposit will be refunded if plans and specifications are returned in good condition within thirty days after the bid date, except for the lowest responsible bidder whose deposit is forfeited upon contract award. Site visits must be coordinated directly with the Head Custodian. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder or bids may be rejected or readvertised at the discretion of the School District. Bids cannot be withdrawn within 45 days after opening, except in writing and before the opening date.
