Site work for a civil project in Jasper, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project; and one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Electronic bids are invited for furnishing all necessary materials, equipment, superintendence, and labor for water system improvements, including installation of approximately 11,700 linear feet of 12" C-900 PVC water line, directional drilling 700 linear feet of 12" HDPE with 18" HDPE casing pipe, replacement of two 10" connections, and replacement of a 10,000 gallon GST. Each proposal must include a bid guarantee of at least 5% of the total bid amount in the form of a cashier's check, certified check, negotiable U.S. government bonds, or a bid bond. Bids without such guarantee will not be considered. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive responsible bid. The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds each for 100% of the contract price. Prevailing Davis-Bacon wage rates must be paid, and all required affirmative action and non-discrimination regulations must be complied with. The contract is subject to the EPA's Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program and American Iron and Steel requirements, and is contingent on funding release from the Texas Water Development Board. Hard copies of bidding documents will not be provided, but plans can be viewed online.
