Excavation of an existing retention pond to increase its capacity and installation of lighting along an existing pathway. All Bidders submitting a sealed Bid shall obtain the Bidding Documents from CivcastUSA.com. Bidders must be a Plan Holder of record at the Issuing Office; bids from non-listed Plan Holders may be returned as not responsive. Plan Holders should provide an e-mail address if they wish to receive addenda and designate whether they are a prime contractor, subcontractor, or supplier if posting this information on the Project Plan Holders List is desired. The Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to OWNER in an amount of 5% of the Bidder’s maximum Bid price. The bid bond must be issued by a surety company licensed by the Texas Department of Insurance to do business in Texas and signed by an authorized representative licensed by the Texas Department of Insurance. The successful Bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond on the attached forms in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price within 15 days after receipt of the Contract Documents. OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, waive any technicality, and accept any Bid deemed advantageous. All Bids remain subject to acceptance for 85 days. Contract award is to be made based on the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder.
