Site work, paving and renovation of a bridge / tunnel in Newfane, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade bridge / tunnel; and one-story above grade bridge / tunnel.
The work includes the rehabilitation of two bridges: Ewings Road over Eighteen Mile Creek in the town of Newfane and Quaker Road over Golden Hill Creek in the village of Barker. For the Ewings Road Bridge, the proposed work consists of substructure concrete repairs, bearing replacements, joint replacements, superstructure overcoating, and spot deck repairs. For the Quaker Road Bridge, the proposed work consists of repairing the bridge top slab, guiderail replacement, filling in scour pockets, reconstructing a portion of the roadway, and sidewalk reconstruction.
