The work consists of constructing 104 linear feet of new 18-inch diameter SDR 26 PVC sewer, installing two manholes, connecting to existing lines, providing bypass pumping, dewatering the lift station wet well, flushing the force main, ensuring trench safety, and decommissioning the lift station. This includes removing pumps and the service panel and delivering them to the Public Works yard, removing the generator and switch gear and delivering them to the animal shelter, breaking up concrete to fill the hole, covering with soil, re-vegetating and watering disturbed areas, and implementing a stormwater pollution prevention plan. Bidders must submit, with their bids, a Cashier's Check or Certified Check in the amount of five percent(5%) of the maximum amount bid, payable without recourse to the City of Forney, Texas, or a Proposal Bond in the same amount from a reliable Surety Company as guarantee that the Bidder will enter into contract and execute bond and guarantee forms provided within ten (10) days after receipt of notice of award.
