Furnish and install all material and equipment for wastewater treatment plant improvements, including a 14' diameter aeration digester with decanter, chemical feed building and equipment, decant pumps, blower motors, electrical, piping, and site work for a fully functioning system as shown in the plans and specifications. All bids must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the provided forms and instructions, including the completed bid proposal, business relationship affidavit, bid bond, non-collusion affidavit, payroll affidavit, and certificate as to corporate principal. Bidders must submit bids in sealed envelopes labeled with the bidder's information and project name, and may withdraw a bid prior to the opening time. Conditional bids will not be accepted. Subcontractors are subject to Owner approval and must submit required evidence of qualifications. Bid modifications may be sent by telegraphic communication received before the deadline, to be confirmed in writing. Each bid must be accompanied by bid security of not less than 5% of the bid. The successful bidder must execute the contract and bonds within 10 days of notice of award or forfeit bid security as liquidated damages. Work must be completed within 120 consecutive calendar days from the notice to proceed or be subject to liquidated damages. All applicable laws and regulations must be followed. Performance, statutory, and maintenance bonds of 100% of the contract price are required upon contract execution.
