The Contract is generally for the following work: o 300mm sanitary main: 460 linear meters o 250mm sanitary main: 160 linear meters o 200mm sanitary service: 150 linear meters o 100mm sanitary force main: 130 linear meters o 450mm storm main: 21 linear meters o 75mm sanitary forcemain services: 3 each o 1050 manholes: 7 each o 1050 overbuild manhole: 1 each o 1200mm manhole: 1 each o Catch basin: 1 each o Other miscellaneous works contained in in the Contract Documents Tenders submitted must be accompanied by a copy of the original specified 10% Bid Bond and will be received. The successful tenderer will, within 15 Days of receipt of the written Notice of Award, be required to deliver to the Owner the items listed in FT 5.1.1, including a Performance Bond and a Labour and Material Payment Bond as described in FT 5.1.1(a), failing which the provisions of FT 6.1 will apply. In its sole discretion, the City may reject or retain for its consideration, tenders which are nonconforming because they do not contain the content or form required by the instructions to tenderers or for failure to comply with the process for submission set out in these instructions to tenderers. The City specifically reserves the right to reject all Tenders if none is considered to be satisfactory and, in that event, at its option, to call for additional Tenders. The City reserves the right to cancel any request for Tender at any time without recourse by the Tenderer. The City has the right to not award this work for any reason including choosing to complete the work with the City's own forces.
