Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Brampton, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.
This procurement is to find general contractor to perform modification of existing and construction of new extensions for Humicon platforms across multiple recreation centres. The existing steel-framed platforms that support Humicon units servicing the ice rinks at Greenbriar, Terry Miller, Century Gardens and Earnscliffe Recreation Centre's were constructed in 2018, as part of a multi-facility Humicon platform replacement project. However, concerns have been raised regarding the safety of access/transitioning onto these platforms. Modifying existing platforms with new construction extensions, new guardrails, and where required, new deck overlays and modifications to the existing ladders is required.
