LAN Project No. 125-10085-000 In general, this work consists of pipebursting of sanitary sewer lines including service reconnections in kind, removal and replacement of external drop stack connections, and cleanout replacements; trench safety as required per Section 01561, implementation and maintenance of traffic control, and bypass pumping as necessary throughout the project. The contractor is required to ensure traffic control is executed as necessary and to obtain any necessary permits for street cuts and/or traffic control. The work also includes rehabilitation of a partially cast iron sanitary sewer line with tuberculation, coordination with District Operations Staff and Engineer to reduce and maintain flow from the lift station into the sanitary sewer system for rehabilitation, and site restoration including removal and replacement of damaged sidewalks, driveways, patios, decks, pavements, irrigation lines, turf, plants, shrubs, fences, trees, and other miscellaneous items. Television inspection of sewer lines after completion of rehabilitation work is also required. It is the responsibility of the contractor bidding the project to ensure the accuracy of the reproduction of all bid documents and construction drawings, including proper scaling, paper width, and length, to avoid errors in unit bid quantities and/or bid amount. Each bid shall be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check or certified check in the amount equal to ten percent (10%) of total base bid. If certified or cashier's check is used as bid security, check must be drawn on a responsible bank located in the State of Texas and made payable to Owner only. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or minor defects and to reject any or all bids. In case of the lack of clarity or ambiguity in prices, the Owner reserves the right to accept the most advantageous or reject the bid.
