Renovation of a water / sewer project in Rockford, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Scope : The City of Rockford requests bids from qualified vendors to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supplies necessary for the removal, disposal, and replacement of granular activated carbon (GAC) in vessels located at Well 37 and any other potential treatment facilities as necessary. In addition to the GAC removal/replacement, the vessels are to be visually inspected to determine the condition of the vessels. The vendor shall provide GAC replacement services at Well 37 and any other potential facilities as necessary during the contract period. Question Deadline 12/01/2025 at 5:00 PM PT Questions regarding this Bid/RFP shall be addressed to: Vishruti Patel - vishruti.patel@rockfordil.gov Answers to questions will be provided via addendum on December 3rd. The City of Rockford reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or proposals at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to the Rockford City Council not appropriating sufficient funds to purchase equipment or complete the contract.
