Description

Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Sandy Springs, Georgia. Working plans call for the construction of a 14,250-square-foot, one-story above grade fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.

**As of April 20, 2026, teh awarded Design Builder is Carroll Daniel Construction. A timeline for construction has not yet been established.** Cobb County Fire is building a new ground up two-story Fire Station on a redeveloped portion of Cumberland Mall to serve the Cobb Galleria area. Cobb County ("Cobb" or "County") is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit proposals from qualified firms to design and build a new, approximately 14,250 square foot, one-story fire station located at Sewell Mill Road and East Piedmont Road in Cobb County. The Facility will house equipment rooms, gear locker rooms, showers, gear laundry, bunk rooms, kitchen, office and apparatus bays.. This RFP includes a description of the scope of work, proposal requirements, and instructions for submitting a proposal response. Any questions concerning this RFP must be submitted to the portal prior to 5:00 pm on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.
