A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at Chesterbrook Elementary School. Bidders who do not attend the pre-bid meeting will not be permitted to submit a Bid and will not be eligible for award. Onsite work shall begin upon receipt of Notice to Proceed Letter. Substantial Completion on or before August 7, 2026. Final Completion on or before August 14, 2026. The HVAC systems being controlled are Boilers, Chillers, Associated Pumps, Fan Coil Units, Unit Ventilators, Rooftop Units, and Exhaust Fans. These specifications define the manner and methods by which these controls function. 2. GENERAL: A. Weekly Project Schedules: The Contractor shall provide weekly project schedule generated using appropriate project management software to FCPS project manager. B. Working Around Summer Programs: The possibility of summer programs and in turn working evening shift even during the summer break should be taken into consideration by Contractor. C. Project Points of Contact: Only project related FCPS personnel (Infrastructure and Environmental Engineering (IEE) Section Coordinator, Manager, Project Manager, Energy Systems Engineer, and Field Construction Representative) are points of contact for the projects. Taking directions or recommendations from non-project related personnel may result in the Contractor's liability for redoing their work to adhere to FCPS specifications at Contractor's expense. D. Measurements and Verifications: The Contractor is responsible to perform all the necessary measurements and verifications to ensure that all the submitted material will fit the application and perform per applicable FCPS sequences of operation. E. Approval of Deviations from FCPS Specifications: All the deviations from requirements per project documents including those presumably based on verbal agreement between FCPS and Contractor shall be requested for approval in writing to the FCPS project manager, IEE Section Manager or Coordinator. Failure to receive written approval for any changes from FCPS project manager or IEE Section Manager or Coordinator will result in Contractor's liability for redoing their work to adhere to FCPS specifications at Contractor's expense.
