Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Palm City, Florida. Working plans call for site work for a fire / police facility; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; pre-engineered storage facility; and water / sewer project.
In accordance with Section 287.055 of the Florida Statutes, known as the Consultant's Competitive Negotiations Act (CCNA), the Board of County Commissioners of Martin County, Florida, is seeking proposals from qualified, experienced, and State of Florida or Martin County licensed General Contractors or Building Contractors. The selected contractor will provide professional construction services as authorized under Section 255.103, Florida Statute, and will be responsible for delivering Construction Management at Risk (CMAR) services for the Martin County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) Firearms Training Facility Improvements project. This project includes the construction of an approximately 5,000 square foot metal warehouse building, along with a 7,000 +/- square foot live fire shoot house prop located within a 10,700 +/- square foot pole barn structure. Additional work includes expanding the existing parking lot, installing and improving fencing, gates, access control, and surveillance components, and connecting the site to newly available water and wastewater utilities. All improvements will occur on or near the Martin County Sheriff's Office Firearm Training Facility at 8355 SW Busch Street in Palm City, Florida. The County recognizes fair and open competition as a basic tenet of public procurement. Contractors doing business with the County are prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, creed, national origin, handicap, age or sex. Minority-Owned, Woman-Owned, and Small Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond to this solicitation. Question Deadline 12/29/2025 at 5:00 PM ET: Every request for interpretation shall be in writing and e-mailed to Purchasing at pur_div@martin.fl.us. No later than 5:00 PM on Monday the week prior to the qualification due date. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
