Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Estherville, Iowa. Completed plans call for the demolition of a stadium; for the construction of a stadium; for site work for a stadium; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Work generally consists of new construction of the Estherville Lincoln Central Stadium Entrance, including but not limited to demolition of existing site, new building construction, new parking lot, and new field events. Work generally consists of new construction of the Estherville Lincoln Central Stadium Entrance, including but not limited to: -Demolition of existing site -New building construction -New parking lot -New field events Time Frame: Construction may begin after receipt by the contractor of a written notice to proceed. The work shall be substantially complete on or before July 15, 2026, subject to changes in the contract period as provided for in these specifications and granted by the Board of Directors. The Work shall be finally completed by, and ready for final payment, on or before September 11, 2026, subject to any changes in the contract period as provided for in these specifications and granted by the Board of Directors. All work for Base bid and, if accepted, Alternate #2 shall be completed by August 7, 2026 All work for Alternate #1, if accepted, shall be completed by September 11, 2026 Performance and Payment Bonds: The successful bidder must execute performance and payment bonds, each in an amount equal to one hundred (100%) percent of the contract amount to ensure a timely, efficient, and complete performance. The bonds shall be issued from a reputable bonding company approved by the Board of Directors of the Estherville Lincoln Central Community School District and shall guarantee the faithful performance of the contract and the terms and conditions therein contained, the payment for labor and materials used in the project and the maintenance of said improvements in good repair for not less than one (1) year from the time of acceptance of said improvements by the Board of Directors of the Estherville Lincoln Central Community School District. Liquidated Damages: Liquidated damages will be assessed the contractor in the amount of five hundred dollars ($500.00) per working day that the work remains uncompleted after the end of the contract period with due allowances for extensions due to conditions beyond the control of the contractor. The Estherville Lincoln Central Community School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities as allowed by law and to hold and consider the bids for thirty (30) days after the date of the bid opening.
