As of January 28, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The project consists of ESE resource rooms, two VPK classrooms, one VPK-ESE classroom, two skills classrooms, music room, art room, eight intermediate classrooms, teacher planning, restrooms, kitchen, stage, custodial, communications/data, mechanical, electrical and parking. The concept also includes an art patio, outdoor dining space, and open field for outdoor learning or PE activities. The overall school site is also being modified to improve the extensive flooding which occurs on the northeast and southwest perimeter of the school. Regrading will also facilitate usable PE areas on the north. Compliance with the Jessica Lunsford Act is required during all phases of construction. Participation of subcontractors and vendors that are certified as MWBE with Broward County Public Schools is encouraged. The MWBE goal for this project is 41%.
