The Town of Reading invites proposals for Materials Testing & Construction Inspections Services for the Killam Elementary School (KES) Project. Proposals must be submitted using the required forms, and supplemental materials may be included to demonstrate qualifications. The successful proposal will be compensated based on quoted rates for inspection or testing services, with overtime paid for work exceeding 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday. Premium charges for Saturday, Sunday, or holiday work must be indicated, and all general and administrative costs, including travel, must be included in the submitted rates. The contract may be awarded for reasons determined to be in the Towns and publics best interest, regardless of price, and the Town reserves the right to negotiate price and terms with any proposer. Proposers must register to be on the bidders list and receive notifications. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
