Scope of Work includes paving and appurtenances to serve Sienna Section 72 for Sienna Municipal Utility District No. 7. Instructions to bidders: Bids, with a required bid bond or certified/cashier's check of not less than 2% of the total bid, must be submitted electronically or to the specified office by the designated time. Late bids will be returned unopened. Each successful bidder must execute contract documents and provide required insurance certificates and bonds within seven days after receiving contract documents. If a certified or cashier's check is submitted, the original must be delivered to the bid-opening address within one business day of the bid opening. Bidders may obtain bidding documents for a non-refundable fee. Electronic bids and bid securities must comply with Owner's adopted electronic bidding rules and be submitted through the specified website. By submitting a bid, bidders agree that contract documents may be accepted or executed through use of electronic signatures in accordance with Owner's rules for construction contracts. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive defects or irregularities except for the time of submission. The successful bidder will be the responsible bidder most advantageous to the District and resulting in the best and most economical completion of the Project. The requirements of Subchapter J, Chapter 552, Government Code, may apply, and contract documents may be terminated if the bidder fails to comply with its requirements.
