A. The Project consists of construction of an addition, on to the existing Kindergarten wing, that will serve as the new New Oxford Elementary School. Subsequent work includes alterations of the existing Kindergaren wing followed by building demolition of the existing school, following completion of the new addition and vacancy of students the summer of 2028. B. Generally, the new construction consists of load bearing masonry, structuralsteel framing, steel joists and metal deck, masonry veneer, exterior metal wall panels, mechanically attached EPDM membrane roofing, aluminum windows, storefront system, curtain wall system, casework, and interior finishes along with the specified mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. Renovation of the existing Kindergarten wing consists of roof insulation and membrane replacement and replacement of interior finishes including, but not limited to, ceiling tile, flooring, , painting, and specified mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
