Renovation of a municipal facility in Marine, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
SCOPE OF WORK A. Remove existing roof system down to the lightweight concrete. B. Remove all edge and trim metal. C. Thoroughly inspect and remove/replace any wet or deteriorated lightweight. D. In low rise foam, install new insulation in accordance to R30 regulation. E. If necessary, raise all perimeter, flashings, curbs, etc. to accommodate new roof height. F. Install 1/2 cover board over the insulation. G. Install a modified bitumen base sheet in cold adhesive over the entire roof area. H. Install a modified bitumen cap sheet in cold adhesive over the entire roof area. I. Install all new edge, trim, coping and metal details. J. Apply an aluminized coating over the entire roof. K. Paint all gas lines safety yellow. L. Absolutely no exposed termination bar will be accepted. All termination bar needs to be terminated with a metal flashing. M. It is the responsibilities of the awarded contractor to verify all dimensions and perform any core cuts needed to bid the project prior to beginning work. N. It is the responsibilities of the awarded contractor to ensure all roof areas promote positive drainage. Absolutely no ponding water will be accepted.
