The project generally consists of the replacement of the roof systems of the Medical Education Campus from an adhered EPDM roof to a 2-ply modified bitumen roof, as well as removal and replacement of metal roof panels. Bidders must be registered vendors in eVA. The contract will be awarded on a lump sum basis including any properly submitted and received bid modifications plus any additive bid items as decided by the Owner. Instructions for submitting bids, procedures for withdrawal and modification of bids, as well as qualification requirements, are specified. A Standard Commonwealth Bid Bond and Contract Security are required. Contractors are required to process all pay applications/invoices through the Owner's web-based management software, e-Builder, with no fee for its use. A pre-bid conference will be conducted, and attendance is highly recommended for those submitting a bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
