The project requires providing construction and design support for a new central program campus named "North Peoria" on a currently unimproved, approximately 7-acre parcel located in Peoria, AZ, along W Westward Skies Dr. east of El Mirage Rd. Western Maricopa Education Center No. 402 (West-MEC) is a public-school district that provides innovative Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. West-MEC affirms that each student houses unique potential, and our innovative programs aim to bring that to the surface. West-MEC prepares students across twenty-eight unique CTE programs for a bright future through hands-on learning with industry-standard equipment, experienced instructors, and leadership opportunities. West-MEC serves more than 37,000 students from 48 high schools in the northern and western cities of the Phoenix Metropolitan area are enrolled in West-MEC funded programs. The West-MEC boundary spans 3,876 square miles, serving students at multiple locations. Contractor shall maintain in current status all federal, state, and local licenses, bonds, and permits required for the operation of the business conducted by Contractor. Contractor shall remain fully informed of and in compliance with all ordinances and regulations pertaining to the lawful provision of services under the Contract. District reserves the right to stop work and/or cancel the contract of any Contractor whose license(s) expire, lapse, are suspended, or are terminated. Provide detail regarding any liquidated damages ever accessed by an owner for late completion of a project within the past five years. Rights of Waiver, Rejection, and Cancellation. Notwithstanding any other provision of the Solicitation, District may waive any minor informality, reject any and all Offers or portions thereof, or cancel a Solicitation. Cancellation for Bankruptcy or Acquisition. District reserves the right to cancel, or suspend the use of, any Contract if Contractor files for bankruptcy protection, or is acquired by an independent third party.
