Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Mashpee, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade sidewalk / parking lot.
The Town of Mashpee is seeking sealed proposals for a contract to provide all designated labor, equipment, and materials for the Mashpee-Wakeby Pond Boat Ramp Stormwater Retrofit Project at 0 Main Street, Mashpee, MA. The work includes site preparation, clearing and grubbing, excavation and backfill, implementation of stormwater management practices, paving, and planting. Proposals must be submitted in sealed form and will not be accepted if faxed or emailed. The Town of Mashpee reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any formality in the best interest of the Town. Inquiries should be directed in writing to Catherine Laurent at dpw@mashpeema.gov. The project is the provision of all designated labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of stormwater green infrastructure and BMPs. Work includes excavation, grading, reclamation, paving, and planting. All questions and/or requests for clarification on this Invitation to Bid should be directed in writing to Catherine Laurent, DPW Director via email dpw@mashpeema.gov no later than 3:00 pm on December 10, 2025. Questions received after this deadline will not be acknowledged. If applicable, addenda issued during the bidding period will be forwarded to all bidders who have obtained Bidding Documents. Receipt of addenda shall be acknowledged in the designated space on the Bid Form. The work is estimated to cost $1,022,800 On this contract, the Department of Fish and Game has established a goal for participation by Minority or Women Business Enterprise(s). One half of the goal shall be met in the form of contractor activity. This goal shall remain in effect throughout the life of the contract. Minority or Women Business Enterprises 10 % The Contractor must comply with Massachusetts public construction workforce participation requirements mandate specific goals for minority (15.3%) and female (6.9%) workers on all state and state-assisted construction projects. These goals are stipulated in state law and further discussed in Attachment The Bidder shall be prepared to start the project on February 1, 2026. 4. Substantial completion of the Project shall be achieved by May 22, 2026 with final completion by June 12, 2026.
