The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is accepting proposals from consulting firms interested in the preparation of the construction plans and specifications for the Event Titled project. The intent of this capital construction project is to replace the bridge (Structure No. 04917) on West Broadway Street (located between 2nd Ave N and 3rd Ave N) over Big Spring Creek in Lewistown. Work will include bridge replacement for a structure in poor condition. Minor roadway approach work is included to tie the new bridge into the existing roadway alignment and existing sidewalk facilities. Due to the poor conditions structure rating, there will be a focus on fast tracking this project through contract negotiations and Plans, Specifications, and Estimate (PS&E) delivery. The consultant will be required to provide comprehensive design services necessary for the project, including (but not limited to) investigation, analysis, and design of bridge; roadway, geotechnical, hydraulic, environmental elements, survey, work zone safety and mobility, and public involvement. This project is in the city limits of Lewistown, MT on West Broadway Street, between 2nd Ave North and 3rd Ave North. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
