Renovation of a mixed-use development in Airdrie, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Removal of existing equipment: Remove the existing heat recovery air handling units (AHU-1 and AHU-2) from the mechanical room. Installation of new AHUs: Provide and install new air handling units equipped with energy recovery wheels to replace the removed units. Ductwork modifications: Modify the existing ductwork to suit the new AHU configurations. All new ductwork shall be acoustically lined. Piping modifications: Modify the existing heating and cooling piping to suit the new coil locations. Silencer relocation: Relocate the existing supply air (S/A) silencers as required. Structural and support modifications: Modify the existing housekeeping pads to suit the new AHU dimensions and install new NSN vibration-isolation pads under the new units.
