Renovation of an educational facility in Elmhurst, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.
Salt Creek School District 48 will receive sealed bids for the 2026 Phase II Capital Improvements. Bids must be submitted in an opaque sealed envelope addressed to the Superintendent at Salt Creek School District 48. The Contractor must pay the Prevailing Wage Rates for all work per Illinois Law. The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive irregularities in the bidding procedures, or accept any bid that best serves the interests of the School District. Bidders are encouraged to utilize diversified businesses to the maximum extent feasible in any contract. The bidder must have a written sexual harassment policy in compliance with Section 2-105 of the Illinois Human Rights Act. Electronic copies of bidding documents are available at no cost from the Construction Manager, Nicholas & Associates, Inc. Pre-qualification requirements: Bidders must be pre-qualified by Nicholas & Associates, Inc. Bidders are required to have submitted an AIA 305-Contractors Qualification statement to Nicholas & Associates, Inc., prior to submitting a bid. Attendance at the Pre-Bid Meeting is required for all bidders submitting a bid on this project.
