Construction of an affordable housing project of the site of the Paradis cinema closed since 16 years after the demolition of the existing structure. TIMELINE: The City of Montreal is purchasing the building of the former Paradis cinema for the development of multi-residential project on its site. After demolishing of the existing structure the City expects to transfer the land to a non-profit organization for the develop an affordable and social housing project in accordance with municipal policy. Scope of work, budget and timelines of the project development are being finalized.
