Renovation of a mixed-use development in Georgetown, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade municipal facility; and one-story above grade financial development.
As of February 27, 2026, this contract has been awarded. Sealed bids are requested for the construction of Georgetown Bank Renovations - Phase 2, Town Hall Space, Town of Georgetown, Georgetown, Mississippi. One contract will include all work. Bids shall be submitted on the form furnished by the Architect and must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or certified check for at least five percent (5%) of the base bid payable to the Town of Georgetown, Mississippi. No bid may be withdrawn for 60 days after the actual date of the bid opening. All bids must comply with applicable state laws of Mississippi and shall include the Contractor's Certificate of Responsibility Number. A performance and payment bond for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract sum will be required of the successful bidder. The Owner reserves the right to waive any and/or all formalities or to reject any and/or all bids submitted. Official Bid Documents may be obtained at the office of Carl Freiler Nobles Architect upon receipt of $50.00 deposit. Refund of deposit will be made as stated in the Bid Documents, Instructions to Bidders. Digital copies of bid documents will be available upon request at cfnarch@aol.com. The work consists of the renovations and restorations to the Georgetown Bank Building in Georgetown, Mississippi. The work includes selected site and building demolition and renovation and restoration of certain areas. BASE BID: Bidder agrees to perform all Base Bid work required for Georgetown Bank Building Renovations - Phase Two for the Town Hall Space located at Georgetown, Mississippi . ALTERNATE NO. 1: Install new aluminum frame and insulating glass windows to all window openings on the lower level of the building. ALTERNATE NO. 2: Install new aluminum frame and insulating glass windows to all openings on the upper level of the building. The work includes all work described in the contract documents and consists of, but not limited to, the following building types of work: 1. Selective interior demolition. 2. New gypsum board partitions. 3. New doors and frames. 4. New exterior windows ( Alternates) 5. New plumbing and HVAC system. 6. New electrical lighting and equipment. 7. Painting. 8. All other items as shown and described in contract documents. complete the entire work in 210 Calendar days.
