The scope includes construction of a one-story type V-B occupancy, S-1 sprinklered main building containing office areas and storage rooms; exterior work areas; a one-story type V-B detached support structure with S-1, S-2, and U occupancies; a covered detached exterior fuel storage and fuel dispensing system; and other items required by the Plans and Special Provisions. Prevailing wage requirements apply to this public works project. Bidders must comply with California public contract laws and all applicable labor codes. The project is subject to the Community Workforce Agreement (CWA) with requirements including a local hire goal, payment of fringe benefits through a union trust fund, registering employees through a union hall, and submitting a signed Letter of Assent with the bid proposal.
