Infrastructure upgrades on Elmwood Drive, from McLaughlin Drive to the north end City Boundary; and McLaughlin Drive, from Elmwood Drive to Granite Drive. Scope of work may include: multi-use pathways; pedestrian crossings; intersection improvements; traffic signal upgrades; new overpasses; and a new interchange. TIMELINE: Project is conceptual. The consultants completed transportation planning studies, which were approved at the November Committee of the Whole meeting. Owner has initiated an application for right-of-way in support of a multi-use path on the east side of Elmwood drive, between Lewisville Rd and Donald Ave. Capital works budget approvals and seeking provincial and federal funding will be required. Further update may be confirmed spring 2027.
