The purpose of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to establish a pool of qualified Contractors for as-needed street resurfacing and related roadway improvements within the City of Homestead. Work may include milling, paving, and restoration of existing roadway surfaces, shoulders, and adjacent areas as designated in writing by the City. Bidders must be familiar with FHWA documentation, reimbursement, and project management requirements. The provisions of Title 23, United States Code (Highways), and 23 CFR (Highways) apply to this contract to ensure compliance with Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) funding eligibility and reporting requirements. The City will require appropriate documentation and recordkeeping to support reimbursement eligibility for any federally funded work performed under this contract. The City of Homestead maintains an ongoing street resurfacing program to preserve roadway conditions and extend pavement life across the municipal network.
