The City of Missouri City, Texas ("City") is accepting competitive sealed bids frominterested companies that can perform the work specified in Invitation for Bid Oakwick Forest Drainage Project. The"City" reserves the right to reject any or all responses, waive informalities, cancel the above solicitation, and make awards that are in the best interest of the "City". All costs incurred in the development of a response to this solicitation (directly or indirectly) are the responsibility of the interested party (ies) and not the "City". ALTERATIONS AND EXTRA WORK: The City of Missouri City, Texas may issue Change Orders, to make deletions, alterations, modifications, or additions in the work for the purpose of perfecting the work herein undertaken or the ramifications thereof, and the Contractor shall execute the work as so changed, provided the entire cost of such extra work as results from such changes, including the cost of extra work resulting from any prior alterations, modifications, or additions so ordered, shall not exceed twenty-five percent (25%) of the original amount of the contract. The Contractor shall be required to provide all the necessary labor, supervision, machinery, equipment, transportation, insurance, bonds, tools, materials, and any other item(s) or resource(s) to complete the work specified herein. There will be multiple driveways and driveway culverts that will be replaced along those roads to improve drainage in the Oakwick Forest Estates subidivision.
