As of January 20, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Proposals are requested for a single, lump sum General Construction contract covering all work related to the following: At Howard Johnston Plaza, replacement of flooring, light fixtures, ceilings, and furnishings; painting of walls and ceilings; upgrading entry security and modification of through wall flashing at masonry. At Riverview Terrace, replacement of 20 entry doors, doorframes, and storm doors. Bids must include a bid guarantee made payable to the Housing Authority. The successful bidder must be fully insured and provide assurances as required by the instructions. All contractors and subcontractors must comply with Equal Opportunity Employment requirements, Executive Order 11246, Davis-Bacon wage rates, and submission of weekly U.S. Department of Labor payroll forms. There is a good faith effort goal of 10% minority and 5% women employment. This project is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968. The Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to award the contract to the lowest, responsible, responsive bidder, and to waive any formalities or irregularities in the bids received.
