Summary of Work - Specification Section 01 10 00 Buildings A, (2) Safety Rest Areas: Slab on grade foundation, with a load bearing structure with concrete masonry units with stone veneer, metal trusses, plywood deck, composite nail base panel, rigid insulation and synthetic shake shingle roof system, forced air DX heating and cooling system. This project includes a site and building on both the eastbound side of IH-10 and also a site and building on the westbound side of IH-10. Both facilities are labeled "Building A" in the contract documents due to their near identical nature, but there are 2 building facilities, one on each site. In general, the Work includes earthwork, fencing, site lighting, concrete foundation, concrete masonry structure, metal truss frame system and roofing, masonry veneer, damp proofing, windows, interior cmu partitions with gypsum plaster wall finish, wood doors and wood frames, ceramic tile, wood plank flooring, painting, architectural wood trim, wood trim ceilings, casework, mechanical systems, plumbing systems, and electrical systems as indicated in the Contract Documents. 1.
