Renovation of an educational facility in Great Falls, Montana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.
Sealed bids are requested for the East Middle School Water Piping Replacement. Bids will be accepted for a single General Contract, covering all general construction and plumbing work. The contractor must comply with all Fair Labor Practices and requirements of the State of Montana, and both the contractor and their subcontractors must have a Certificate of Registration from the Montana Department of Labor and Industry. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, Cashier's Check, or Certified Check for 10% of the total bid amount. The successful bidder must provide an approved Performance Bond and a Labor Material Payment bond, each at 100% of the contract amount, upon contract signature. The contractor must provide Lien Waivers as requested before final payment. Submittals must be addressed and delivered to the Director of Business Operations at the District Office. Bids must remain in effect for at least 60 days after the scheduled receipt time, except as otherwise noted. The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, award the contract to the bid deemed best suited to the facility's needs or in the best interests of the owner, waive informalities, and determine what constitutes irregularities or informalities. The owner may also contact bidders for clarification or additional information.
