Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Brandon, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Project scope includes, but is not limited to, the installation of 315 linear feet of 30" Reinforced Concrete Pipe; connections to existing curb inlets; installation of a curb inlet and two grate inlets; removal of storm drain; removal and replacement of curb and gutter, sidewalk, asphalt, etc.; and all other associated work required to complete all as shown and specified in the plans and contract documents. Bid Security in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the INTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS. Attorneys-in-fact who sign Bid Bonds, Payment Bonds or Performance Bonds must file with each bond a certified and effective dated copy of their Power of Attorney. The Contract Time is Forty-Five (45) consecutive calendar days with liquidated damages being Five Hundred Dollars ($500) per calendar day thereafter. Minority and Woman Owned Business Enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities, equipment, material and/or supply needs. The CITY OF BRANDON reserves the right to waive any information or irregularities, to accept any bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City, or to reject any or all bids.
