Sealed proposals are requested for the construction and completion of HVAC upgrades at the Branch Area Careers Center Welding Lab. Proposals must be submitted in an opaque envelope marked "BACC Welding HVAC Project". Late submissions will not be considered and will be returned unopened. Bids will be publicly opened at the Administration Building. The successful bidder must provide a performance bond and a labor and material payment bond, each for 100% of the accepted bid amount. Attendance at the pre-bid conference and walk-through of the facility is highly recommended. The Mechanical Contractor shall serve as the Prime Bidder. Additional site examinations may be scheduled by contacting the Assistant Superintendent of CTE. No withdrawal of proposals is permitted for a period of ninety (90) days after the opening. The successful bidder must maintain necessary insurance in accordance with the general conditions.
