The Project, of which the Goods and Special Services are a part, is generally described as follows: WWTP Primary Clarifier Improvements - Center Feed Clarifier Equipment Procurement. General: 1. The clarification equipment shall be a center feed type with peripheral overflow and plow-style sludge removal. The drive mechanism shall support and rotate the center cage to which are attached two truss type rake arms. 2. Each clarifier includes: a. Drive mechanism complete with reducer(s), motor, and overload device. b. Local push-button control panels. c. Center support pier, anchor bolts, and pier seal assembly. d. Influent feed well with supports. e. Center cage, rake arms, and blade assembly. f. Center column supports. g. Dual skimmer blades (full diameter), single scum beach, supports, and flushing connection. h. All associated attachment bolts and anchor bolts. 3. Clarification equipment shall not include a walkway or handrail. Access to the drive will be accomplished by the existing walkable covers.
