The project is funded by a FEMA Grant. Prevailing wages apply. DavisBacon Wage Rates are included in the complete RFP. Damascus Township, Wayne County, PA is seeking bids for the Stone House Road Culvert Replacement Project. The project consists of removing an existing 7'-4" x 5'-6" CMP Elliptical culvert and replacing it with a new 10'-6" x 5'-7" Bottomless Aluminum Box Culvert, which will include aluminum footing plates, lean concrete sub-footers, and aluminum structural plate endwalls. The new structure has been purchased separately by Damascus Township and will be stored at the Damascus Municipal Building. Bid packages with full specifications and bid documents are available at no cost via PennBid. Bidders are required to provide a bid bond for 10% of the base bid amount. The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds for 100% of the contract amount within 20 days of award. Damascus Township will select the lowest responsible bidder, but reserves the right to waive informality or reject any or all bids.
