The project will consist of installation of new storm sewer lines and replacement of an 8-inch water main along Perennial Drive. It will extend from Heimer Road and Perennial Street intersection to Dutch Myrtle Drive in San Antonio, Texas. The storm sewer will also extend through the Arbor Hills Apartments off of Perennial Drive. The total length of the storm sewer line will be approximately 1,260 feet and the water main will be approximately 1,150 feet. And it is our understanding that the installation will be done by open-cut method. The objective of this geotechnical engineering study was to conduct a subsurface exploration and laboratory testing to establish the engineering properties of the subsurface materials present on the project site. This information was used to develop the geotechnical engineering criteria for use by design engineers to aid in preparing the pavement design(s). The approximate location of the proposed sewer line is presented in the Vicinity Map included as Figure 1 of Appendix A.
