Walker County is soliciting proposals for grant writing and administrative services to assist in its application and administration of a contract, if awarded, from the Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery Program of the Texas General Land Office. These services are intended to support eligible activities associated with the program in the County. Firms and individuals with past experience in federally funded programs are encouraged to submit proposals. Proposals must be submitted on a thumb drive with four copies of the RFP to the specified address. Section 3 Residents, Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises, Women Business Enterprises, and Labor Surplus Area firms are encouraged to submit proposals. Walker County retains the right to negotiate with any or all firms submitting proposals.
