The Virginia Department of Transportation is seeking bids from qualified Contractors to establish an "On Call" contract for the transportation and disposal of hazardous, non-hazardous, and universal waste. This includes aerosol cans, fluorescent bulbs, gasoline filters, oily rags, antifreeze, oil filters, mixtures of petroleum and water, as well as servicing parts washers, washer cabinets, paint gun cleaners, aqueous brake cleaners, and oil/water separators. Contractors are also required to provide packaging, labeling, marking, transportation, and disposal for unknown waste materials found abandoned within the Commonwealth right-of-way at locations in the Staunton District. Bidders must submit a Small Business Subcontracting Plan with the electronic bid response if they are not a certified small business. If using subcontractors, bidders must identify contract portions to be subcontracted to certified small businesses for the contract period and any renewals. Ensure all bid documents and fillable forms are completed and submitted. Follow all instructions in the solicitation and avoid unbalanced bid pricing.
