Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Columbia, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project.

Scope of Services Howard County intends to procure the services of one construction firm to perform construction of Cradlerock Park Renovations. The project may include, but is not limited to, demolition and disposal of existing site features and amenities, grading, concrete sidewalks, asphalt trails, water line modification, drainage features, stormwater management features, site furnishings, fencing, landscaping. The Playground Equipment & Safety Surfacing purchase & installation is not included in this bid and will be performed by a separate contractor hired directly by Howard County Rec & Parks. The Fitness Equipment and Surfacing purchase & installation is not included in this bid and will be performed by a separate contractor hired directly by Howard County Rec & Parks. The 2 Natural Turf Field installations including: Irrigation system & controllers, special soil mix and sod will be performed by a separate contractor hired directly by Howard County Rec & Parks. The Musco lighting system and controller will be purchased by Howard County Rec & Parks, and installed by the Contractor. All work shown on the plans outside of those exceptions stated above will be the responsibility of the selected contractor. The selected Construction firm will be required to coordinate with the Playground Company for site access, playground and fitness area elevation coordination, schedule coordination and other items typically expected during construction.
