Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Port Matilda, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

Construction of a permanent equipment storage building to be constructed on the Township's property . Questions regarding this bid may be directed to: Chairman, Leonard Ellenberger (814) 232-7236 The project consists of the construction of a 40' x 48' x 16' permanent building with a 6-inch concrete floor, two commercial overhead doors, insulated walls and ceiling, engineered trusses, painted steel siding and roofing, eave ventilation, and other components as described in the project specifications. 1. Project Description The proposed structure shall be 40 feet wide by 48 feet long with a 16-foot eave height. The Township will secure all required building permits for this project. 2. Construction Specifications Concrete Floor: 6-inch finished concrete floor with two (2) 3-inch floor drains piped to the exterior of the structure. Footings and Posts: All posts shall be set a minimum of 36 inches below finished floor elevation. Structural Members: All structural headers, posts, and beams shall be #1 grade lumber. Wall and Ceiling Insulation: Walls insulated to a minimum of R-19, ceilings to a minimum of R-30, and interior surfaces finished with steel or other suitable liner panels. Overhead Doors: Two (2) 16' commercial-grade, steel-backed insulated doors with three (2) heavy-duty electric openers installed on the gable side. Windows and Entry Doors: Two (2) 32" x 48" vinyl windows (no grid) and two (2) 36" wide commercial steel entry doors. Exterior Finishes: Painted steel roofing and siding, minimum roof slope of 4 inches per foot. Roof trusses engineered to meet or exceed Central Pennsylvania snow load standards. Drainage and Trim: Installation of rain gutters, downspouts, 12-inch soffit, and fascia with roof overhangs. Eave ventilation shall be provided to prevent roof condensation. Lumber Treatment: All ground-contact wood shall be pressure-treated for resistance to decay. Engineering: Contractor shall provide stamped engineered drawings for review and approval by the Township's Building Code Enforcement Officer. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to award the contract in the best interest of the Township.
